Marialena Cresta

After graduating Dundee Dental School in 2013, Marialena gained experience in general practice prior to working as a ore trainee in a variety of specialities which include Restorative, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric and Oral Surgery. During this period. She obtained the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

Marialena completed a three-year speciality training programme in Endodontology based

in Edinburgh Dental Institute in May 2021. She successfully passed the Membership exit examination and is a registered specialist in Endodontics. Her interest is on dental trauma based on which she completed the Masters in Medical Science by Research with distinction.

Through the past years, she has enjoyed sharing her experience through presentations and seminars. She has been certified with the Advanced Certificate in Clinical Education, the Clinical Educator Programme Level III and is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
