Edinburgh Dental Institute is delighted to welcome our new intake of students for Academic year 2017-18. Image We are delighted to welcome all our new undergraduate and postgraduate students to Edinburgh Dental Institute for the next academic session of 2017-18. Nine undergraduate students have embarked on the BSc (Hons) Oral Health Sciences and an additional nine students have started working towards a DClinDent award. We are particularly pleased to welcome the international students who have joined us from Oman, Thailand, Greece, Dubai, India and Romania. All our new students enjoyed a very successful induction week starting off by attending the Principal’s welcome event in McEwan Hall on their first day. The remainder of the week was a informative and enjoyable mix of events organised by the College of Medicine, the Deanery of Clinical Sciences at and our own in house sessions. The week rounded off with our Discovery Challenge, a lively quiz exploring Edinburgh and the vicinity around Lauriston Building followed by the international dish of pizza!
