We welcome feedback from staff who use our Service.

User survey

The Staff Counselling Service has an ongoing commitment to good ethical practice.  This includes being responsive to the needs and opinions of staff members who use the Service.  We therefore routinely invite all those who have received counselling to take part in an anonymous evaluation of the counselling service.

WEMBS - Warwick Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale

We also seek to measure the effectiveness of our counselling in relation to mental wellbeing and for this we use a questionnaire to measure your wellbeing at three points of your contact with us.

  1. Initial contact
  2. At the start of counselling sessions
  3. At the end of counselling

At each of those times we will ask you to complete the same brief questionnaire about your thoughts and feelings over the past two weeks.  The questionnaires enable us to measure overall change in wellbeing as a result of your contact with us.

Participation in both the User Survey and WEMWBS is entirely voluntary.
