We welcome suggestions for Student News from across the University.
Do you have an important message that is relevant to the whole student and/or staff body and may require action to be taken?
Emails to all staff or students are kept to a minimum to reduce email overload and to maintain effective communication practices. Please contact us to discuss your communication needs as we may be able to suggest alternative, more appropriate, channels.
If we agree to send out an email on your behalf, we will need to agree:
- the content of the email
- the date (and time, if relevant) when the message needs to be sent
- to whom it needs to be sent
- the names of anybody who needs to be copied in
- the subject of the message
- who it's from
Email messages should be short, can only be sent in plain text, and cannot include attachments. If you have a large amount of information to send, or want the recipients to view a Word document, for example, you should add it to your department’s webpages and include a link to it in the email.
