If you are planning any research or audit in our department you must first register your project using this form.  In addition to the reasons below this is to ensure no duplication which might waste patient and researcher time and to enable researchers to see if there's any overlap that they would need to take into account for their recruitment  time. This has been agreed between the University and NHS Orthopaedic and Trauma Department.
