MSc in Critical Care

Teaching

You will learn from experts in critical care via recorded lectures and live video tutorials, and you will collaborate with academic staff and fellow students using online discussion boards.

Weekly live tutorials

You will participate in weekly live tutorials. Tutors will make themselves available for question and answer sessions to clarify areas of uncertainty. We will record these sessions  for future reference.

You will also create “Five minute teaching” topics for presentation at the weekly live tutorials using the online discussion boards.

Quizzes and tasks

You will also have the opportunity to review classic papers on specific subjects as well as participate in weekly quizzes. Additionally, tutors will set you tasks for you to complete in your own time.

Virtual intensive care unit

You will also learn what it is like to work collaboratively in a critical care setting using our innovative, 360-degree tour of a critical care ward.
