How the programme is delivered
Find out about how we deliver teaching and how you can work flexibly around existing work and family commitments. Read how group work enables you to work collaboratively with other students, and what computer or device you need to take part.
You will learn from experts in critical care via recorded lectures and live video tutorials, and you will collaborate with academic staff and fellow students using online discussion boards.
Although entirely based off campus, students will benefit from collaborative peer learning. We will use a variety of interactive tools, including the virtual classroom, to create a community of learning.
Flexible study hours
Study online at times that suit you using our e-learning software and extensive digital resources.
Studying online requires that you have a broadband connection and an up-to-date computer that can stream video.
Hear from students Lucy Stephenson and Kevin Lambert on what it's like to study Critical Care online with the University of Edinburgh.
