Research
Our history means the main focus of our research is of the brain & nervous system, including:
A major goal is to reduce the burden of common neurological disorders.
Our location adjacent to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh wards as well as the A&E department means we are ideally situated to carry out research into other body systems & pathologies.
For researchers
We provide very high quality MR scans using a state of the art, research optimised, scanner which is capable of performing both conventional & highly advanced imaging techniques. We support projects of all sizes including single, simple scans, as well as coordinated, multi-centre, global clinical trials.
