Congratulations to Manuel Blesa Cabez who was awarded the Magna Cum Laude award by the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine.

Manuel Blesa Cabez, a postdoctoral fellow at the MRC Centre for Reproductive Health, was awarded the Magna Cum Laude award for his recent online presentation "Hierarchical complexity of the macro-scale neonatal brain”.

Manuel presented this during the Pediatric Neuro: Fetal/Newborn/Developmental session, at the ISMRM & SMRT 2020 virtual meeting & exhibition.

Manuel’s work was also selected to be presented in the ISMRM pediatric study group & in the ISMRM White matter study group, which also won the first prize in the oral presentation category.

We caught up with Manuel to ask how he felt on being awarded the Magna Cum Laude award.

I'm very happy for this award, because it shows that as a team, we are producing high impact work for the neonatal community & shows us that we are focusing our research in the correct path.
