Feedback from our cohort of radiographers:

A very good online course – easy to navigate and thorough in content. I am now going to set up a protocol and policy in my MRI unit for radiographers to request and report IOFB plain xrays after taking this course.  My colleagues will then also take this online course to enable us all to do this, negating the need for Radiologist input and hold ups to the service.

I really enjoyed this online course, I decided to take it to further my confidence in provisionally reporting orbital x-rays and gain further information on the subject. The course was very informative and I liked being able to work through it in my own time as and when I could around work. Thank you Edinburgh Imaging Academy!

This course was a fantastic find! I work at an outpatient clinic where there isn’t always a radiologist on site. We often have to send patients away after their orbits x-ray resulting in a wasted appointment slot for us and a return trip for our patients. The online course can be completed in your own time as quickly as you like. It is very easy to access and navigate.

Thumbs up for University of Edinburgh. This IOFB Course not only has boosted anatomical knowledge but also increased confidence while working in MRI department. This course has enhanced insight on importance of excluding the metallic foreign body before MR scan, and proved its usefulness in keeping the work flow of the department smooth and steady. Which ultimately favors' radiographer expertise.

The course definitely provides you with all the tools you need to have the confidence to assess orbit x-rays for the presence of metallic foreign bodies.

I thoroughly enjoyed the learning aspect of the subject ....the lectures were well structured and extremely informative. The e-learning team were very helpful.

The course was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Felt supported throughout albeit an online course. Course content and online presentation and instructions were in my opinion faultless. Well done all!

Good course, challenging at points. The practice images really helped.

It was very well presented and I enjoyed having the practice assessments before taking the final assessments.

Personally I found the pre-course introduction on how to navigate the computer a little scary but only because it is 32 years since graduating for me! Overall I really enjoyed the course.

The course was great. Thanks so much.

As a Malaysian working in Macau, the IOFB Reviewing course was ideal as it was online - making it affordable (no travel to the UK required) and flexible (I could study around my working hours).
