The network, co-led by Prof Joanna Wardlaw from Edinburgh, and by Prof Berislav Zlokovic, University of Southern California (USC), is researching the role & cause of enlarged perivascular spaces in small vessel disease using a range of cutting edge imaging & lab techniques. An important aspect of the network is the interaction of clinical & preclinical research strands.
