"I’m Gerry Thompson. I’m a consultant neuroradiologist and Senior Clinical Lecturer in Radiology, at the University of Edinburgh.
I use brain imaging, particularly PET and MRI, to better categorise neurological conditions such as dementia and brain tumours. In particular, I look at the early diagnosis of brain tumours and dementia, to improve treatments."
