Scottish Association of Neurological Sciences (SANS)

SANS is an umbrella organisation to support neurology-related clinicians in Scotland.

The Scottish Association of Neurological Sciences (SANS) was formed in the early 1980’s. Membership includes the neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuropathologists and clinical neurophysiologists working in Scotland - trainees as well as consultants.

The aims of SANS are to:

  •  improve the care of patients with neurological problems in Scotland
  •  enhance the training and education of everyone involved in that care
  • promote research

The current SANS Secretaries are Craig Heath and Ed Newman.

Annual Meeting

This year's annual meeting will be on Thursday 2nd – Friday 3rd November 2017.
