How to get to the Hospital

By Rail 

The closest train stations to the Hospital are Edinburgh Waverly and Haymarket which are located in central Edinburgh. Visitors would then need to use a bus or taxi. Bus and train times and routes are available at Traveline Scotland 0871 200 22 33 (calls cost 12p per minute plus normal network charges). 

By Bus

By Car

The Hospital is situated between Telford Road and Crewe Road South, Edinburgh EH4 2UX. Parking at the Western General Hospital is limited and it is advisable to travel by public transport when possible. Parking locations are indiated on the map. Car Park 1 is  a multistorey carpark accessed via Porterfield Road (Entrace C on map), and is the closest carpark to the Outpatients Department (Yellow building on the map).

By Bicycle

There are various Sheffield Cycle Stands throughout the Western General Hospital. The cloest to our office entrance is situated opposite the Outpatient's Department building.
