Neuroradiologist Dr Grant Mair joins CCBS
We would like to welcome Dr Grant Mair, who has recently joined CCBS as a Senior Clinical Fellow and Honorary Consultant Neuroradiologist.
Grant completed his radiology training in Scotland, then undertook a fellowship at the Neurological Intervention & Imaging Service Western Australia.
Grant’s primary research interest is the imaging of stroke. He is currently investigating the relationships between what we see on imaging at the onset of stroke and how this relates to stroke severity, response to treatment with intravenous thrombolysis and eventual functional outcome for these patients.
Grant is working with both CT and MR imaging to assess changes in brain tissue, arterial blood flow and arterial perfusion of brain using a number of different imaging techniques.
