Edinburgh Clinical Trials Networking Event
14th Jan 2016: An event for those involved in Edinburgh clinical trials to meet, learn from and support each other.
WHEN: Thursday, 14 January 2016 from 14:50 to 18:00
WHERE: University of Edinburgh - Project Room 1.06, 50 George Square. Edinburgh EH8 9LH GB
A large number of people in the University of Edinburgh work on clinical trials in human or animal health, and we should learn from each other, and support each other to better our knowledge and working practices. To this end, we would like to set up an ‘Edinburgh Clinical Trials Network’.
This event will be hosted by Professor Peter Sandercock, Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences and Professor Steff Lewis, Centre for Population Health Sciences. Enthusiastic UoE colleagues with an interest in clinical trials are warmly invited to attend.
We aim to:
- Find out the level of interest in setting up an ‘Edinburgh Clinical Trials Network’
- Explore how a network could best support you and colleagues working in this area · Invite people to join a team to coordinate network activities.
- Provide an opportunity for you to meet colleagues and potential collaborators in other disciplines with a shared interest in clinical trials
Tea & coffee will be available on arrival. Pizza, wine and other refreshments will be served at 5pm.
