Associate Chaplain - Rev Geoffrey Baines
Geoffrey Baines is one of our Associate Chaplains.
Geoffrey began his time as an Associate Chaplain at the beginning of 2016, having formerly been an Honorary Chaplain since 2006, when he moved to Edinburgh to take on a new role with the Methodist Church.
Throughout this time, Geoffrey had been an explorer of personal development resulting in a form of mentoring he calls dreamwhispering – listening to what a person's life may be whispering but they may not not be able to hear because of the noise and busyness of everyday life. Since 2006 he has worked with more than seven hundred people on their talents and dreams and has personally moved into doodling with the aim of having more pictures in life.
Geoffrey is now a “minister without appointment,” making it possible to continue developing his dreamwhispering, writing, and doodling. He especially enjoys working on a one-to-one basis, believing everyone has amazing talents and dreams. Every day he blogs and doodles about things he is most curious in at thinsilence.org.
