Karen first joined the University in August 2009, working as a Student Support Officer and Exam Board Administrator – firstly in the School of Economics and latterly in the School of Informatics. Previously she has worked as a Database Administrator for First ScotRail and as an Alumni Society Membership Co-ordinator for Loretto School.

Karen studied Scottish Literature and English Language at University and has a keen interest in Psychology and Mental Health and Wellbeing.  Working at the Chaplaincy provides an exciting opportunity to further develop her administrative skills in a supportive and caring environment, which is closely related to the Student Support Role she previously enjoyed.
