Long Covid and menstruation study - STV News

On 23 April 2023, STV News featured a tissue-based study taking place in the CRH Maybin lab exploring whether long Covid has an impact on the menstrual cycle.

Dr Marie-Claire Grounds is participating in this trial. She has suffered from long Covid since contracting the virus in April 2020, and talks about her own experience of changes to her periods.
