Professor Ralston honoured by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine

Professor Stuart Ralston, Head of the Rheumatology and Bone Disease unit within CGEM, has been made an Honorary Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine: November 2015

Professor Stuart Ralston, Head of the Rheumatology and Bone Disease unit within CGEM, has been made an Honorary Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FPM) in recognition of his work with the Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Authority of the UK. Professor Ralston currently chairs the Commission for Human Medicines, an independent advisory committee whose purpose is to advise UK government ministers on the safety, efficacy and quality of medicinal products. His work in this area has been acknowledged by the FPM, a standard-setting setting body concerned with the discovery, development, evaluation, licensing and monitoring of medicines, as raising standards in pharmaceutical medicine for the benefit of public health.
