Targetjobs Teaching and Education - comprehensive information and advice on finding vacancies, making applications (including writing CVs and personal statements) and preparing for interviews. The bulk of the information covers England, with separate sections for the constituent parts of the UK.
Prospects: Getting a graduate job in teaching and education - information from Prospects (the official UK graduate careers website) about where to find work experience and teaching vacancies.
Education Development Trust - a leading education charity trust, works with governments and schools to improve education in the UK and overseas. It employs some 2,500 staff around the world who design and deliver services, support educational reform, teach, advise, research and train. The website also lists UK and international vacancies.
New 2 Teaching - website set up by the Association of Teachers & Lecturers (ATL) union to provide help and advice to newly qualified teachers. Site includes information on job hunting, induction, employment and the profession.
TES New Teachers - a new resource for NQTs, part of TES Connect, giving access to advice, resources and sector news, as well as vacancies.

MyCareerHub is exclusively for current students and graduates of the University of Edinburgh. It can be used to:

Catholic Teachers Gazette - online version of the teaching jobs gazette, which lists vacancies for every Catholic school and college in England and Wales.
Eteach - billed as the UK's number one education recruitment website, it has sections for student teachers, supply teachers and overseas teachers. It caters for state, independent, church/faith and international schools in the UK, and some overseas.
Great Education - a jobs board that covers all areas from primary to higher education and training: search and apply for jobs and sign up to receive job alerts by email.
My Job Scotland - website advertising all Scottish local government jobs, including teaching vacancies. Register to receive job alerts.
Protocol Education - recruitment agency dealing with short and long-term teaching jobs.
Randstad Education - leading UK and global educational staffing specialist which provides a quality, individual service to over 10,000 teachers and support staff and to 15,000 schools throughout the UK.
Reed - Classroom Jobs - education and teaching jobs from a well-established recruitment agency. They offer posts for primary, secondary, FE and HE levels, including teachers, classroom assistants, lecturers and non-teaching posts.
Timeplan - education recruitment specialist for England, Scotland and some international schools.
TES - the jobs board from the Times Educational Supplement, advertising positions for all areas of the education sector.
Uteach Recruitment - this website specialises in relocating teachers to posts throughout England. They offer a range of services, such as posting CVs on their job availability list, free of charge to all teachers. They will also assist with all aspects of relocation for teachers coming from overseas.
