Careers in Engineering Fair (2023 Date TBC)

• Speak to representatives from 30 organisations and hear what it is like to work with them, get tips on your applications, and ask questions not covered by their websites 

• The fair is aimed at Engineering students. It doesn't matter what stage you are at in planning your career- this event is open to students from all year groups. 

• Get information and advice from the Careers Service

• Attend Prepare for the Fair session on 25th October, 13:15 - 13:45 Hudson Beare LT2  (Book your place on MyCareerHub)

• Demonstrate your interest by researching the organisations you want to speak to. Did you know that MyCareerHub has a list of organisation’s profiles and websites? We would also recommend following your favoured organisation’s social media pages 

• Prepare some questions and main points you want to discuss beforehand 

There is no need to book. Please just come along on the day and sign in. 

Please note: Given the limited space and popularity of this event, you may have to queue to get in. And you may have to queue outside the building so please dress accordingly!   

There is lots that you can do throughout the year with the Careers Service. Below are just a few of the options:

• Make an appointment to get advice on your next steps 

• Use the Careers drop-in (Thursdays of Teaching weeks, 12:30-14:30, Eng Inn cafe) for any quick questions or short feedback you may need. Just turn up! (10 min discussions)
