Info & advice drop-in

You are welcome to come and talk to us at our Helpdesks, where we offer a general information and advice drop-in service every day during opening hours.

No need to make an appointment - just come along.

For some enquiries, we ask that you book an appointment:

CV and application advice to get feedback (20 minutes)

LinkedIn profiles to get feedback (20 minutes)

Careers guidance appointments to discuss any topic (20 minutes)

Referred appointments following referral only (45 minutes)

Practice interviews to practise and get feedback (45 minutes)

Ask a question via MyCareerHub

Current University of Edinburgh students and recent graduates of the University (up to 2 years after graduation) can submit questions to us using the Ask A Question facility on MyCareerHub.

All questions will normally be acknowledged within 2-3 working days and a response usually provided within 10 working days.

Unfortunately we cannot offer CV or applications feedback as part of this service.

Careers Consultant caseloads

While our Careers Consultants have school-based caseloads, all are experienced at working with a range of students and graduates. You can make an appointment with any Consultant.
