Edinburgh Award

The Careers Service runs a number of versions of the Edinburgh Award. Aiming to help you learn to excel, increase your impact and stand out from the crowd.

 

Work Experience (Semester)

You can get recognition from the University for your part-time work by participating in the Edinburgh Award (Work Experience).

International Volunteering

Will you be volunteering outside the UK over the summer? If so, you may well be eligible to apply for the Edinburgh Award (International Volunteering) Summer programme. Applications are now closed.

Summer Work Experience

Will you be working anywhere in the world over the summer? If so, you may well be eligible to apply for the Edinburgh Award (Work Experience) Summer programme. Applications are now closed.

Employ.ed

You can gain an Edinburgh Award by participating in the University’s summer internship programme - Employ.ed on Campus. Applications open in early 2018.

Media

Find out about the Edinburgh Award (Media) including what you need to do to take part and how to apply. Applications for 2017/18 are now closed.

Enterprise

The Edinburgh Award (Enterprise) is run by the Careers Service in partnership with Launch.ed. It is aimed at students who are developing an idea for a social enterprise or commercial start-up.
