Details of who is eligible to use the Careers Service

The following groups of people are very welcome to use our service:

  • matriculated students of the University of Edinburgh
  • graduates of the University of Edinburgh (access to vacancies and 1:1 support for two years after graduation)

In line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into force on May 25th 2018 we have updated our student privacy notice which can be found at the following link https://mycareerhub.ed.ac.uk/students/info/termsandconditions (EASE Login Required)

Access to the Main Library Building

The Careers Service is now offering all our services online. The Main Library Building is closed due to COVID-19.

Graduates of the University will be able to gain access to the library via a free of charge reference card which will allow them to access our services on the 3rd floor.

Applications for reference cards can be made online and via the self-help kiosks to the left of the entrance area of the library. They can then be collected from the Library Helpdesk, when proof of address and photographic ID, such as a driving licence or passport, is shown.
