There is a strong postgraduate community of around 80 postgraduate students at the Centre for Cardiovascular Science at any one time. Aside from academic research, students are involved in: Meet the Speaker - External Seminar Series - after every external seminar, students and other early career researchers are given the chance to meet external academics to gain advice and learn more about a career in research BHF fundraising group – organising events, from bake sales to ceilidhs, to raise money for the BHF School & public engagement events – students regularly go into local primary and secondary schools to engage pupils in science, heart health & research Regular networking and social events organised by the Little France Postgraduate Society, for all postgraduate students in the QMRI and the BioQuarter area (Little France Postgraduate Society Facebook Page) In the video below, some of our students give their top tips on how to complete your research while also making time for yourself and other people.
