Jeremy Thomas

Breast Cancer

Dr Jeremy Thomas is a Consultant Pathologist with active resercah interests in breast cancer, including:

  • Screen-detected ductal carcinoma in citu (DCIS) including diagnosis and staging.

  • Quality assurance in breast cancer receptor testing.

  • Translational breast cancer research including pathology support for large clinical trials: Supremo, Artemis and Rosco.

  • Pathological evaluation of tissues following neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

  • Management of the axilla in breast cancer.

He is also a member of the Sloane Project Steering Group which has been studying UK screen-detected DCIS for the last ten years with a study cohort of over 12000 patients.
