Semester Two and Summer – Research Projects

In semester two you will undertake two 12 research projects (or one 24-week project).

Semester 2 (January - April) -Research Project 1

By the end of semester 1, you will have arranged your first 12-week project, to run from January-April 2023.

This project may continue as Project 2 from May-August, effectively making it a 24-week project, but it is also possible to do a new project as Project 2.

Laboratory projects will be offered. 

During this semester the following assessment will be due:

  • Research Proposal: relating to Project 1 and building on statistical training 

 

Summer period (May to August) – Research Project 2

During the summer period you will commence a second project, or continue with your first project. During this period the following assessments will be due:

  • Poster Presentation Day – relating to project 1
  • Dissertation – relating to project 2 
  • Oral Presentation of Dissertation Project

Conference

You will also have the opportunity to attend a conference. Usually these are FENS or BNA meetings held in alternating years.
