Our programme
Our programme is full-time for twelve months, beginning in September and ending in August the following year. You are expected to be on campus from week one. Successful MSc and Diploma candidates graduate in November/December of the following year.
Semester 1 provides a taught component. Themed weeks allow students to learn from researchers from a wide range of neuroscience areas, and a choice of five elective courses offers the opportunity to focus your learning to one specialism. You'll also choose from a range of projects offered (or propose your own project) to begin in Semester 2.
In Semester 2, you can choose to do either two 12-week projects or one long 24-week project.
Semester One - Taught
The first semester is the 'taught' component comprising lectures on many different areas of neuroscience, specialist electives, and generic skills training.
Semester Two and Summer – Research Projects
In semester two you will undertake two 12 research projects (or one 24-week project).
