Student leaders with the Impact award 2017

Absolutely fantastic news - this is an outstanding demonstration of how our staff and students work in close partnership to support and develop our learning environment - my congratulations to Dr Debbie Shaw and the whole support team in BMTO as well as to Baber who has been such an outstanding advocate for our students.

In another win for Biomedical Sciences, School Convenor Baber Rasheed won in the category of Outstanding Student Leader.

We as a Deanery have successfully changed our community and learning environment for the better, and it would not have been possible without the students and staff from the Deanery of Biomedical Sciences. We've continuously been recognised from sustainability to teaching to student impact every year, and our successes will continue to grow.
