Joint grant success from ARUK

Congratulations to Iris Oren, Tara Spires-Jones (CCNS) and Matt Nolan (CIP), who have been awarded a joint new pilot project grant from Alzheimers Research UK.

The grant aims to develop new tools for studying the mechanisms by which the pathological protein, tau, spreads through the brain in dementias such as Alzheimer's disease (AD).

The tools that they develop will also be made available to the AD research community.

We are delighted to receive this collaborative pilot award to develop new tools to address important questions about how pathology spreads through the brain in Alzheimer's disease
