Winner of the Kendell Award for Teaching in Medicine
April: Congratulations to Prof Jamie Davies who has been awarded the Kendell Award for Teaching in Medicine for the second time.
Prof Jamie Davies, Centre for Integrative Physiology, has won the Kendell Award for Teaching in Medicine for the second time.
His citation is as follows;
'He made the material interesting and easy to understand, whilst asking us to think about the possible theories and reminding us to exercise caution when researching others' research papers i.e. to be critical. He also went out of his way to provide extra learning materials, which were not allowed to be posted on Learn and are rarely produced by other lecturers, which are extremely helpful.'
