SBMS Students awarded Masters Scholarships

Eight SBMS students have been awarded a UK/EU University of Edinburgh Masters Scholarship for the 2015/16 academic session.

July: Eight students from the School of Biomedical Sciences have been awarded  £10,000 UK/EU University of Edinburgh Masters Scholarships for the 2015/16 academic session.

Students on the MSc by Research Biomedical Sciences (Life Sciences), MSc by Research Integrative Neuroscience and MSc Science Communication and Public Engagement are among 100 students awarded scholarships across the University.                                                    

The award will go towards each student’s tuition fees for the upcoming academic year.

The successful applicants will study either a research-focused programme in areas such as neuroscience, infectious diseases, genomic technologies and cancer biology, or on a taught programme designed to prepare scientists for a career in communicating science and public engagement.
