June: G2PD host their first Postdoctoral Retreat at Firbush

This March, we had our first George Square Postdoctoral Retreat organized by our postdoctoral society, G2PD. Our postdocs were able to reflect on their career options both in industry and academia, as well as network and make new friends with colleagues both from within the university and speakers from the publishing, startup, and industry world that came to the event.

The convivial environment as well as the outdoor activities available at the University of Edinburgh's Firbush Outdoor Centre helped the group come together professionally and personally.

We hope to organize another retreat very soon!
