Congratulations and farewell!

Congratulations to Professor Catherina Becker, who was announced as one of six Alexander van Humboldt Professorships awards for 2022 (and the only woman).

This is the most prestigious German scientific prize of five million EUR over the period of five years to support their research.

Professor Catherina Becker and Dr Thomas Becker (both Centre for Discovery Brain Sciences) moved to Germany this month to take up new Professorial positions in the Centre for Regenerative Therapies at TU Dresden. We are saddened to see them leave but also recognise the exciting opportunities this presents for each of them and wish them both the very best in their new roles.
