Congratulations Dr Haley MBE!

Our very own Dr Jane Haley (Edinburgh Neuroscience Scientific Coordinator) was presented with an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) by Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, at an Investiture at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday 29 January 2020. This honour was awarded for Services to Science Engagement and Education.

This is a very well deserved recognition for all the fantastic work Jane has done to support Edinburgh Neuroscience and the wider engagement with the public. Congratulations Jane!

In a lovely circular (but purely coincidental) moment, it was also Princess Anne who presided at Jane’s graduation ceremony in 1987 at the Royal Albert Hall when she received her BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology from the University of London (UCL).
