3 Minute Thesis Final 2020
Congratulations to Caroline Allen (Spears lab) and Sarah Neely (Lyons lab), two of the nine finalists for the University of Edinburgh’s Three Minute Thesis 2020 competition!
About the competition
The 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) competition requires doctoral researchers to compete to deliver the best research presentation in just 3 minutes (and one slide). It is based on a concept developed by the University of Queensland which quickly spread across Australia and New Zealand, and has gone global.
The University of Edinburgh has run a 3MT competition every year since 2013.
The 2020 Final
The finalists from all three Colleges will compete to deliver the best research presentation in 3 minutes with one slide.
The finalists will pre-record their presentations and their videos used for the live final on Thursday 25th June at 14.30. A people’s choice vote will take place on the same day.
