Sponsored by the British Council, the Student Leadership Forum, held before the 2019 Joint Institute Alliance AGM held at ZJE in Haining, China bought together students from across the UK-Joint Institutes in China.

Each team was asked to develop a proposal and strategy to develop student experience within and across the UK – Joint institutes.  The top four proposals were then presented by the students at the Joint Institute Alliance AGM on Monday together with a synopsis of the major themes emerging from the discussions.

The ZJE student team (Becky, Adele & Shan Qui) have won a trip to Malaysia to attend the International TNE event in March 2020.

Representatives from each of the Institutions involved in the 20 UK China Joint Institutes commented on the energy, drive, ambition and vision of all the students and how they exemplified the strength and depth of these unique UK-China partnerships in transnational education.
