Student exchanges

Students studying in the Deanery of Biomedical Sciences can spend one year of their undergraduate studies at a University abroad. This is an excellent opportunity to experience living and studying in another part of the world.

Medical Sciences students

You can apply only for the Subject-Specific Exchange at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. You may not apply for a General Exchanges.

Biomedical Sciences students

You can apply only for General Exchanges.

Information sessions and events

If you're considering applying for an exchange, we recommend you go to one of the information sessions run by the Study and Work Away Service at Edinburgh Global in semester 1 of your second year.
