Abduelmenem is the Programme director of MSc Human Anatomy programme at the University of Edinburgh. 

Abduelmenem has responsibilities and teaches anatomy on a number of degree programmes offered by the University of Edinburgh, including; the MBChB programme, MSc in Human Anatomy, the Regional Anatomy for Core Surgical Trainees (Scotland Deanery) and BSc Medical Sciences. He is the Programme Director of the MSc Programme, Course organiser of Anatomy of Limbs (Year 4 – elective course), Module Leader of MSc Human Anatomy Dissertation, Basic Human Anatomy, Imaging, Embryology 1 and 2, as well as Anatomy Law and Ethics.
