Edinburgh Anatomy Workshops

Anatomy workshops for the public

Want to know more about the human body?

The Anatomy staff invite you to spend a day in the historic Old Medical School, University of Edinburgh, to explore a region of the human body, with no prior knowledge required.

You will experience one of the country's oldest medical schools, whilst learning about the human body through a series of lectures and hands-on practical sessions, led by expert anatomists.

Lunch will be served in the anatomical museum where you will be able to enjoy historic surroundings and discover our anatomical collection. The museum is currently only open to the public once a month so this allows a rare opportunity to spend some time looking at the history of medical teaching at the University of Edinburgh.

This unique experience is limited to 25 places. Each workshop can be attended as a stand alone educational experience or all six can be combined as an unrivalled course in human anatomy.
