Undergraduate
Edinburgh. Extraordinary futures await.

Student Societies

The School associated societies are run by our students, find out more about what they do.

Societies are run by the students themselves so really reflect the interests of the current student body. There are over 240 societies for a range of different interests, from Acapella to the Yoga Society, there is something for everyone! The Students' Association provide support for students on the society committees and to those who want to start up a new society. Anyone from any year group or School can join a society and it's a great way to make friends.

We have many School-associated societies whose main passion is Biological Sciences in general or a more specific area of Biology. They run different events throughout the year that you can go along to and find out interesting things about biology and science in general; meet others from your courses; share advice; and have fun! You can read more about some of our societies by following the links below.
