Open Days and Visits
There are various different ways you can visit us to find out more about studying at the University of Edinburgh.
Open Days
Our University wide Open Days are a great way to find out more about studying with us before you apply. There are usually 3 Open Days each year, held in June, September and October.
Usually there are opportunities to speak to staff and current students, presentations on our degree programmes and tours of some of our facilities.
For more information visit the University of Edinburgh's Open Days website.
Offer holder events
Once you have applied and received an offer you can attend our offer holder events. These are another chance for you to speak to staff and current students, ask your questions and find out more about studying with us. Offer holders will receive information on our events by email, so make sure to check the email address you used on your UCAS application.
Virtual Visit
Take a look around the University with our Virtual Visit. Discover the School buildings, libraries and points of interest, and get a feel for what it's like to study and live in Edinburgh.
Student-led guided tours
The University offers general student-led guided tours for potential students and their supporters to visit the Central Campus and King's Buildings Campus.

Self-guided tours
If you would like to look around the University at your own pace, the Student Recruitment and Admissions team have created a Self-guided tour leaflet and a Self-guided audio tour. These give a general introduction to the University and our campus buildings. Both can be downloaded from the University's website.
