IDRC-CRDI Call for expressions of interest on climate change and healthThrough the anticipated call, up to five institutions will be funded to establish regional hubs in the Global South. These hubs will initiate and manage research sub-grants in West and Central Africa, East and Southern Africa, South Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Middle East and North Africa. Global Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) FundA catalytic funding mechanism that supports projects (USD$50k-$500k, up to 36 months) that aim to create enabling environments for the uptake and mainstreaming of Ecosystem-based Adaptation to climate change. Projects should be Global, Thematic, or target only ODA-eligible countries. Deadline 21 April 2024 |

Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases: management of multiple long-term conditions (MLTC)Collaborative proposals must use an implementation research approach, to address management of MLTC, in the context of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The focus is to improve the availability of effective, equitable, efficient, integrated, patient-centred, safe, and timely care in LMIC or among disadvantaged populations in HIC. Royal Society international exchanges schemeThis scheme stimulates new collaborations within the natural sciences between scientists in the UK and other countries, with the aim to build lasting networks and strengthen emerging collaborations. Collaborations should be based on a single project and travel can only take place between the UK and a country where the overseas collaborator is based. Funding limits depend on the number and duration of visits proposed but the maximum grant is £12,000. Cost share arrangements are in place between the Royal Society and some other international funders - see the call website for more details.
