Teaching Spaces
On campus teaching takes place in a variety of locations across the University. You can access your personal timetable with details on where you need to go in MyEd, under the ‘Studies’ tab.

Noreen and Kenneth Murray Library
At the King's Buildings campus, your library is the Noreen and Kenneth Murray Library.
The main print book collections here are for:
- Biological Sciences
- Chemistry
- Engineering
- Geosciences
- Mathematics
- Physics and Astronomy
As a student, you will have full access and borrowing rights in all University of Edinburgh libraries.
The University offers a range of study spaces with varying facilities to suit your needs. Informal study spaces are available across the King’s Buildings campus, the largest informal study spaces are located in:
- The Nucleus
- Murchison House
- The Noreen and Kenneth Murray Library
- James Clerk Maxwell Building (JCMB) Learning and Teaching Cluster

Group Study Spaces and Room Booking
Some group study spaces are available on a first come first served basis, others can be booked in advance. You can book group study rooms up to a week in advance via MyEd.

Open Access Computer Availability
The University has a number of open access computers available in many locations around campus. Students can log in and use these with their University log in.
