There are a number of ways in which you can support the School, from one off donations and regular giving, to leaving a gift to the University in your will.
The Biological Sciences Undergraduate Bursary Fund
You can donate to the School of Biological Sciences Undergraduate Bursary Fund by clicking on the links below. This fund helps talented students who may not have the means to make the most of their time at University by providing them with annual support throughout their four year degree, meaning they can concentrate on their studies and achieve their potential.

Philanthropy and The School of Biological Sciences
Philanthropy has always been at the very heart of what Edinburgh University does, and the School of Biological Sciences has always been a part of that tradition. The first Genetics Building at the University, opened in 1930 and now known as the Crew Building, was brought into existence by a £30,000 grant which was matched by funding from a variety of individuals and public organisations. The Ashworth Building too was built through one extremely generous public donation as well as grants from The Carnegie and The Rockefeller Trusts.
