Legal Utopia, one of the start-ups part of the third cohort on the Bayes Accelerator Programme have been confirmed as one of the international start-ups to join the Borderless Series intensive accelerator delivered by Founders Embassy in Silicon Valley, USA.

The Borderless Series is an intensive, now virtual, course for early-stage founders of international and immigrant-founded start-ups that are invited to join and participate in 15 different sessions over the course of one week, as well as "interactive off-the-record daily sessions" by thought leaders from some of the most well-known US venture capital firms, as well as PayPal, TravelBank, Stripe, Twitch and Y Combinator to name a few.

Legal Utopia will benefit from bespoke materials prior to and after the accelerator course to support its development and will have the opportunity to meet thought leaders at a summit in San Francisco later in 2020.

The programme is designed around financial capital raising, human capital and social capital and, as such, will focus on fundraising, investor relations, growth, talent, company culture, sales and marketing, legal and more.

Legal Utopia has previously been selected for similar support as a 2018/9 resident of the Barclays LawTech Incubator in partnership with The Law Society of England and Wales, and is a current member of the 2020 cohort at the Wayra UK AI & Blockchain Accelerator in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh.

Legal Utopia working with international law firms, banks, regulators, universities, and industry stakeholders, conducted national research and development with the University of Westminster funded by the European Regional Development Fund in 2018/9; this later enabled the development and launch of the Legal Utopia Engine (L.U.E) in early January 2020 across England and Wales supporting start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs with more than 186,000 everyday legal problems on-demand.
