University Space Team Sign Launch Partnership
A student-led satellite group from the University of Edinburgh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Responsive Access, a launch brokerage firm that participates in the European Space Agency Business Incubation programme, with a view to procuring a launch opportunity.

This investment adds to their growing fleet of ROVs, expanding their subsea capability and capacity much further.
Viapontica AI and Cisco UK have teamed up to create SenseDistress. SenseDistress involves making the police cell into a connected environment to detect health risk in custody in a non-invasive way. This technology helps to monitor detained individuals to help keep them safe while they are in custody.

ICoT Conference 2020
On 27th February the IoT Service together with Bayes held our inaugural Intelligent Connected Things Conference (ICoT 2020) across Informatics Forum and the Bayes Centre. This was a very well attended event (170+) with a variety of attendees from academia, education, business and government communities.
