Exciting Line-up of Sponsors for EIE21

EIE, Scotland’s top tech investor showcase, has confirmed an exciting line-up of sponsors, with international, UK and Scotland-based companies, who all are leaders in innovation and technology.

Engage, Invest, Exploit (EIE) 2021 is  Scotland’s premier tech investor conference and will see company founders pitch for investment from seed level to over £2 million. A range of sponsors, who are all are leaders in innovation and technology, are supporting the event.

EIE is run by the Bayes Centre in partnership with the DDI (Data-Driven Innovation) initiative and supported by Scottish Enterprise. It is a year-round programme highlighted by a day of pitching to investors from across the globe.

Data-Driven Cohort 

EIE announced 32 high growth data-driven tech start-ups, which have been selected to take part in this year’s virtual EIE21. Companies featuring in the cohort include

  • Satellite data specialist Earth Blox
  • OnGen, a tech platform that helps companies cut energy costs and carbon emissions
  • A University of Edinburgh spin-out, Net AI, whose AI-driven analytics aim to revolutionise the management of virtual mobile networks

EIE is a well established tech investor showcases with numerous past successes such as Current Health (who secured a £9 million Series A round in December 2019) and Celtic Renewables (who have raised over £33 million since 2011).

EIE has supported over 500 tech startups since 2008 who have collectively raised around £750 million from seed through to Series A and later stage funding - with Current Health, FanDuel, Celtic Renewables, Amiqus, Two Big Ears, Speech Graphics, pureLiFi and mLed among EIE alumnus companies.
