The programme supports two cohorts of up to ten start-ups a year, based in Edinburgh and they were delighted to announce that Trade in Space and Ocyan from Cohort 2 and Vreo from Cohort 1 are finalists at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

Founded in 2013, the Royal Bank of Scotland Great British Entrepreneur Awards acknowledges the hard work and inspiring stories of entrepreneurs and businesses in the United Kingdom.

Robin Sampson from Trade in Space (Cohort 2) and Andreas Schemm from Vreo (Cohort 1) are both finalists in the Disruptor of the Year category, which focuses on purpose-driven pioneers of change who pick up on the missed stitches in business to bring solutions that make our lives easier, faster and better connected.

Further, Evangelos Pappas from Ocyan (Cohort 2) is a finalist in the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, which focuses on those aged 30 and under, who are the data-literate, socially savvy sharers who create new technologies to render old problems defunct.
